Twice:

 Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in 2015 with nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Since their debut, Twice has become one of the most popular and successful K-pop groups worldwide.

Formation and Debut (2015):

 Twice was formed through the reality show "Sixteen," which aired on Mnet. The show featured sixteen trainees competing for a spot in the final lineup. After several rounds of elimination, the final nine members were chosen to debut as Twice. They released their first extended play (EP) titled "The Story Begins," featuring the hit single "Like OOH-AHH."

Rising Popularity (2016-2017):

 Twice quickly gained popularity with their catchy music, synchronized dances, and charming personalities. They released several successful singles, including "Cheer Up" and "TT," which became iconic hits in South Korea. They won numerous awards, including Song of the Year at the 2016 Melon Music Awards and the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Expansion into Japan (2017): 

In June 2017, Twice made their debut in Japan with the release of the Japanese version of their hit single "TT." They have since released several successful Japanese singles and albums, establishing themselves as one of the leading K-pop acts in Japan.

Continued Success and Global Recognition (2018-2019): 

Twice continued to release popular music in both South Korea and Japan, achieving significant commercial success. They released hit singles like "What is Love?" and "Fancy" in South Korea, and "Candy Pop" and "Breakthrough" in Japan.  In recent years, Twice has showcased their growth and maturity through their music and performances. They released their second full-length album, "Eyes Wide Open," which featured the title track "I Can't Stop Me." The album received critical acclaim and solidified their status as one of the top girl groups in the industry. They have continued to release successful music, including the singles "Alcohol-Free" and "Perfect World."
